About
My name is Taylor Apt. I am a graduate of The Art Institute of California - Orange County where I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design in 2010. Towards the end of 2012, I ended a year long graphic design position at Stanley Black & Decker (now known as Spectrum Brands). During my time there, I was able to gain valuable hands-on experience, completing various projects in conjunction with the in-house design team. Additionally, I worked with project managers on various design projects for brands such as Stanley, Kwikset, Baldwin, Pfister and Geo.
In January of 2013, I began working at an automotive agency. They work directly with manufacturers like Toyota, Mazda, Honda, Volkswagen, General Motors, Ford, Stellantis and many others; creating booklets, presentations, videos, web courses and other marketing and training materials for dealerships and dealer personnel around the US and Canada. I currently hold a position there as an Art Director.
Over the last decade in the industry, I have become proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign. I am also skilled in Adobe Xd and Microsoft Office. I am committed to utilizing my skills and experience in delivering an exemplary level of work and high standards in design projects.
